Creating a new Question Set

When you create a question set, you are choosing what information you want to ask for in the request. You create a new question set for each new process.

There are two ways to create a new question set:

Create a new question set using the 'new question set' button

  • Navigate to organisation settings
  • Select manage question sets
  • Select the button 'new question set'
  • Fill out details and select your questions

OR Create a new question set from an existing question set

  • Navigate to organisation settings
  • Select manage question sets
  • Hover over an existing question set
  • Select 'create new from this set'
  • Fill out details and select your questions

1. Navigate to the Question Sets Page

First open the side navigation by clicking on the hamburger menu in the top right corner.

Click 'organisation settings'

Click the 'Manage Question Sets' button

2. Create a new question set using the 'new question set' button

Navigate to the question sets page. Click the 'new question set' button. This will create a new blank question set.

OR Create a new question set from an existing question set

Hover over a question set in the list. Click 'Create new from this set,' this will create a new question set with the questions from the existing question set already selected. You can then select more or remove questions.

3. Add a Title & Description

The title and description are used by your team to identify which process the request has been created for. Organisations that you send a request to will not see the request template title or description.

4. Choose your questions

There is a list of all the questions in the system. They are categorised into sections. To preview a question click on it.

When you click on a question an interactive preview will be shown. This is exactly how organisations will see the question in a request. To add the question to your question set click the 'add to question set' and then press 'back' to close the modal.

Note: Some of our questions are smart! They have subquestion which give you further customisation. These require a couple of extra steps to add them to your question set. Find out more about sub questions →

5. Create your question set

Questions that have been added to your question set will be displayed green and will have a tick beside them. Once you have finished adding question click 'Create new question set.' The question set will be added to your list and can be used for requests.
