Finding your way around the question preview window
When creating, viewing or editing a question set, when you select a question from the main list, the question preview modal will open.
In this window you can add or remove the question from the set and preview the question functionality.
Note: if a question set is currently in use you can not add or remove questions. You are still able to view the question.
Question preview modal features:
- Back Button
This will take you back to the list of questions - Breadcrumbs navigation
This shows you where you are and lets you easily navigate to different pages. For example, the website question is in the organisation details section. You can click on any of the links in the navigation to go to that page. - Question status
Quickly check whether you have added this question to your question set. - Add to question set button
Select this button to add this question to your question set. - Support article link!
If you ever need a refresh click the link to get to this article. - Question preview
Everything in the white box is an interactive preview of the question. This is what other organisations will see if you use the question in a request. - Live chat with our support team
If you have any questions, send our support team a message! Live chat is available on every page of the app.
Using the Interactive Preview
In the white box (number 6 above) is the question preview. This is what the other organisation will see if you ask this question in a request.
How to use the preview:
- The preview is interactive. You can click the buttons, add example answers and show or hide the help text
- None of the data you input will be saved
- Files that you upload to the preview will not be saved
Subquestions
Some of our questions are smart. They ask let you customise the information that you ask for further. We call these subquestions. Adding subquestions is a little different to our standard questions.
